Jesus Christ heals & grants believers power to emulate Him.

Yoked in His grace to, you do greater works.

To emulate Christ is to take His yoke upon you—drawing on His grace to be perfected in Him and empowered to do greater works than He did (John 14:12).

It is not mere imitation, but transformation: to equal or excel by covenant, through His enabling power (Ether 12:27).

Post 36: The Power of Remembrance—Living with the Spirit Always

Post 21: The Power of Remembrance—Living with the Spirit Always

Introduction: A Sacred Invitation to Power
Every week, the sacrament invites us to remember the Savior always. But what does it truly mean to remember Him? It means more than a passing thought or a moment of reflection. It means aligning your life with His—your words, your deeds, and even your thoughts. When you remember Him, the promise is sure: you will have His Spirit to be with you. This Spirit is not only a comfort but a tutor, a source of strength, and a guide to unlock the mysteries of God.

Pain Point: Contending with the Spirit
How often do we contend with the Holy Ghost, ignoring its quiet nudges or choosing the natural man’s ease over spiritual growth? The world offers distractions that pull us from the power of the sacrament covenant: to take upon us the name of Christ and emulate Him. Yet, when we resist the Spirit, we resist the very power that can transform us. We limit ourselves to the shorthand version of what God intends for our lives—a mere glimpse of what could be.

Principle: Receiving the Fullness through the Spirit
Yesterday, I read 3 Nephi 26:9. As powerful as the Savior’s words in 3 Nephi are, Mormon reminds us that they are but a shorthand version. He writes:

"And when they shall have received this, which is expedient that they should have first, to try their faith, and if it shall so be that they shall believe these things then shall the greater things be made manifest unto them."

Why contend more with the Holy Ghost? Why resist the very tutor who can lead you to comprehend all things? Through the sacrament, we are promised the Holy Ghost as a constant companion. This Spirit teaches us all truth, reveals greater things, and empowers us to act with authority and transform our lives.

The Savior’s invitation is simple and clear: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Through the Spirit, we are invited to know truth, to yield to its enticings, and to become one with God.

As Alma 34:38 teaches, "Live in thanksgiving daily, for the many mercies and blessings which he doth bestow upon you."This is not a passive gratitude but an active way of life. When you remember the Lord always, you receive His power to speak, act, and think with authority. You surrender the natural man and take on the divine nature. You yield to the Spirit and receive every good thing.

Invitation: Feast and Remember Always
Next time you take the sacrament, do so with new intent. As you partake of the bread and water, remember what it means to take upon you the name of Christ. Reflect on your covenant to emulate Him. Feast upon His words and allow them to saturate your soul.

In quiet prayer, ask, “What lack I yet?” Then listen. Knock on the door of understanding, and it will be opened. Seek His Spirit in your daily walk, and you will find it leading you to greater truths and deeper joy.

Let the Holy Ghost guide your words, thoughts, and deeds. Trust its tutelage, for it will show you the way to Christ’s power. Step into the flow of His Spirit and allow it to transform your life.

Blessing: The Abundance of Heaven
As you remember the Savior always, you will feel His Spirit. This Spirit will enable you to surrender the natural man, speak with power, and align your will with God’s. It will unlock the greater things of the kingdom, revealing truths that bring peace and purpose. You will find the strength to overcome, to rise, and to shine as a light on the hill, drawing others to Him.

Through the sacrament, you are not only renewed but empowered. You are connected to the River of Christ, where small streams become mighty forces for good. In this river, you will discover the path to abundance, joy, and every good thing, even the ocean of all that God has.

Walk the Path with Me
Why contend with the Spirit when it stands ready to tutor you in all truth? When you remember Christ always, you receive His Spirit, power, and direction. Together, we can learn to surrender, to transform, and to partake of every good thing.

I’m not the source of Truth, but I’ve tapped into it. As a true disciple, I invite you to come unto Christ and allow Him to transform your life. If you would like companionship along the journey, or help connecting to the yoke of Christ, feel free to schedule some time with me:
