Jesus Christ heals & grants believers power to emulate Him.

Yoked in His grace to, you do greater works.

To emulate Christ is to take His yoke upon you—drawing on His grace to be perfected in Him and empowered to do greater works than He did (John 14:12).

It is not mere imitation, but transformation: to equal or excel by covenant, through His enabling power (Ether 12:27).

Post 57: More than a Reflection: Building on the Rock of Revelation

More than a Reflection: Building on the Rock of Revelation

Have you ever looked in a mirror and wondered if there’s more? More than just your reflection? More than the struggles you face? More than feeling like you’re always falling short?

You might be doing all the right things—serving, teaching, even performing mighty works—but still feel distant from real power. Jesus warns about this: “I never knew you; depart from me.” These words aren’t meant to condemn but to wake us up—to call us beyond the mirror into something real.

Living for Zion, Not Ourselves

To be a light on a hill, we must seek God’s kingdom above all else. Those who do this become filled with light and truth. When our hearts focus on God’s glory, His power flows through us. But if we settle for only outward signs of faith, we block the very power meant to transform us.

Two Ways to Build

Jesus spoke of two builders, but think of them as two versions of yourself:

  • One stands at the mirror, polishing the glass, focused on the reflection.
  • One steps through, letting God’s light change them from within.

The solid foundation isn’t just knowing the right words—it’s living them daily. It’s not just knowing about God—it’s knowing Him personally.

The Holy Ghost: The Key to Transformation

Many people press their faces against the glass, longing to see visions or miracles. But the Holy Ghost teaches a powerful truth:

The veil isn’t meant to be pierced—it’s meant to be passed through.

The Holy Ghost is more than a guide. He is the power that turns the mirror into a doorway. Through Him, we receive truth in both our minds and hearts. Through Him, heaven’s power flows when we seek to glorify God.

This divine helper turns:

  • Every trial into a path to greater light.
  • Every burden into a source of strength.
  • Every moment of prayer into a chance to grow eternally.

Becoming Light, Not Just Reflecting It

When trials come, we often try to fix ourselves—better actions, purer thoughts, holier appearances. But true faith isn’t just reflection—it’s radiation. You were created by the Father of Lights to shine!

Consider this:

  • A mirror only shows what stands in front of it. It is always separate from the light.
  • A soul filled with God’s presence shines from within, becoming one with the light.

This is the difference between wearing faith like a cloak and becoming faith itself.

True Conversion: Reflection to Radiance

The Holy Ghost brings the greatest transformation—from temporary reflection to eternal light. This happens through:

  • Daily revelation that dissolves the barrier between seen and unseen.
  • Surrendering moment by moment to God’s refining power.
  • Deep communion that turns your home into a place where heaven and earth connect.

Living Light, Living Water

Jesus’ warning, “I never knew you,” isn’t about recognition—it’s about resonance. Only those who become light can thrive in God’s presence.

Where do you stand today?

  • Are you polishing the mirror, trying to make your reflection perfect?
  • Or are you stepping through, letting His light fill every part of you?

The difference between striving alone and living with divine power is the Holy Ghost. Through Him, the mirror becomes a doorway. Through Him, every struggle becomes a path to greater light.

God doesn’t call you to just reflect glory—He calls you to become it. In these last days, mirrors will fade, but those who become light itself will shine forever.

What will you choose?
