Jesus Christ heals & grants believers power to emulate Him.
Yoked in His grace to, you do greater works.
To emulate Christ is to take His yoke upon you—drawing on His grace to be perfected in Him and empowered to do greater works than He did (John 14:12).
It is not mere imitation, but transformation: to equal or excel by covenant, through His enabling power (Ether 12:27).

The Courage to Act Without Fear—Living Your Divine Purpose Through Faith
Break free from fear and inaction by aligning your talents and desires with God’s purpose, stepping boldly into your divine potential.
Fear and Inaction
Why do so many hesitate to act on the desires and talents God has placed within them? It is not ability they lack but faith. Fear whispers that failure is inevitable, that their efforts will be wasted. But fear is a lie. God has not given you the spirit of fear; He has given you power, love, and a sound mind.
Your talents and righteous desires are divine gifts. They were not given to remain dormant but to grow, bless others, and glorify God. When you act in faith, trusting Him, fear fades, and His power carries you forward.
Are You Holding Back?
Have you ever thought, “But I’m not ready yet. I haven’t mastered my talents. I’m not qualified.” This is the voice of impostor syndrome, a lie designed to keep you from moving forward. It tells you that because you are not a Master Craftsman, you cannot publish your work. But how will you ever become a Master Craftsman if you refuse to use your tools and hone your skills? Growth only comes through action.
You may feel the pull to write, teach, or serve in a new way, but doubts creep in. "What if I fail?" "What if I’m not good enough?" These questions keep you stuck, robbing you of the joy that comes from magnifying your gifts.
You are not alone. For years, I felt the same. I knew God had given me talents and desires to build His kingdom, but I often hesitated, letting fear convince me to wait until I was "ready." But readiness never comes without effort. Mastery is forged in the doing. The moment to act is always now.
Faith Over Fear—Taking on the Yoke of Christ
Fear is friction, as Raymond Holliwell calls it. It enables you to develop your faith in Christ. Without friction, where would the victory be? The yoke of Christ is work. The burden is to live in the light of Christ, to live in harmony with the laws of God, and to go about doing good with the talents you’ve been given.
But when you take this yoke of work upon you, you are never alone. You press forward with His power—not the arm of flesh power, but His infinite grace. Faith in Christ is therefore more about mental exertion than physical strength. It is the act of aligning your thoughts, desires, and actions with Him.
To activate this power, you must create and build with your talents. Your faith grows as you use your gifts to bring about a better world, trusting in the hope of Christ. His yoke doesn’t remove the work; it magnifies it. Through Him, your efforts are transformed, and you become an instrument in His hands to accomplish greater works than you could ever achieve alone.
Take the First Step
After asking, "Lord, what would You have me do?" you’ve been commanded to make a record of what He says to you. This record not only witnesses to Him that you heard and that you want more, but it is also a witness of your faith in action.
But you don’t stop with the creative record; you build upon it by developing and publishing the gift He has entrusted to you today. Then, start afresh with a new attempt at the gift tomorrow. It is not about producing the perfected magnum opus that never ships—it is about recording and sharing the journey.
Learn from my mistake of ever learning but little doing. Today is a day of publishing your gifts. In sharing the journey, you take part in the work of becoming your magnum opus: emulating Christ to be like Abba.
Choose one talent or righteous desire you have been hesitant to pursue. Offer it to God in prayer, ask for guidance, and record His counsel. Then take one small step today to develop, publish, and grow that gift.
Joy in the Journey
As you rise up a doer of the word, rather than a hearer only, God will stretch you, lengthen your stride, and prepare you not only to walk with faith in Christ but to run and not be weary.
When you take on the yoke of Christ, you move from a small stream—winding and struggling—to become a mighty river flowing back to God. The stream blesses the obstacles it flows around, growing stronger with every step of the journey. As a river, you flow with His purpose and direction, gaining momentum until you return to the ocean of God’s presence, filled with all that He has.
Let’s go. Allow the Master Craftsman to develop and mold your gifts as instruments of joy to bring about His purposes—including you knowing yourself as you get lost in the service of others.
When you publish your gifts and record your journey, God magnifies your efforts. In time, you will see how these small acts of faith lead to greater works. You will feel His hand guiding you, and you will become a living testimony of His grace, learning to emulate Christ in word, thought, and action.
